An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse - Eating Disorder Unit to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Cheadle, Greater Manchester area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

 

The hospital is a specialist provider of complex mental health services, providing clinical excellence across 11 wards which include a speciality eating disorder service, CAMHS, rehabilitation, acute and PICU services

 

**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN with a valid NMC Pin**

 

As a Nurse your key duties include:

  • To maintain your own clinical supervision monthly and to supervise and support allocated HCA staff
  • You will also be responsible for the care, security and maintenance of the equipment, drugs and other consumables on the ward/department
  • You will have shared responsibility for the confidentiality, security and accuracy of patient records, data and information.
  • Ensuring good quality patient documentation, which meets regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements
  • Prior experience of working within Eating Disorders is ideal but not essential, however enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn is required

 

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

·         Knowledge of NMC standards guidelines, requests and professional practices

·         Evidence of post registration continuing professional development

·         Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality

·         Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practise

·         Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

·         IT literate

 

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary from £29,467.31 up to £30,133.35 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 37.5 hours a week working through Night Shifts only. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
